1. Administration/ Measurements Mappings
1.1 Summary
1.1.1 Business Need
Defined users:
Super User/ Administrator with full rights:
Add/Edit/Delete
Reactivate account
Access to admin part of the OSCAR
Main purpose of Administration/ Measurement Mappings is:
To be able to view and change measurements mappings
To include Loinc codes
Measurement Mappings requirements (Confluence link: https://oscaremr.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=QA&title=OLD+OMD-based+testing+checklist&src=email) need to be aligned with Ontario MD EMR Specification document set that describes the high level and detail requirements central to the general EMR application. Measurement Mappings Use cases are created to meet the EMR Specification v4.0 (Appendix A – 2.1.5 (o) Lab Test Management) for Oscar application and to validate the application Measurement Mappings functionality.
1.1.2. Description
Lab values can be linked to Loinc code (has been developed in an attempt to unify transfer of lab information electronically) which in turn can be linked (mapped) onto an Oscar Measurement. Lab results should map across to a measurement and latest value is accessible in the Chart and for eForms. Administration/ Measurements Mapping use cases are designed to view and change (remap) measurements mappings and must include Loinc codes.
1.1.3. Pre-action requirements/state:
OSCAR McMaster Test Version 12.1, system, and DB are up, configured and working as expected.
1.1.4. Post-action state:
OSCAR McMaster Test Version 12.1 is running and behaving as expected.
OSCAR McMaster Test Version 12.1 has all functionality prior to the change (outside of removing functionality intentionally)
1.2 Flow of Events
This section describes the main flow of the Use Case and system responses.
View measurements mappings
Num. | Step | Description | System Response | User |
| Pre-condition | Lab results have been linked (mapped) onto an OSCAR measurements |
|
|
1 | Connect to the OSCAR main page | Launch URL: http://192.168.1.202:8080/Oscar12_1/index.jsp | OSCAR main page with the login is opened | Super User |
2 | Log In | Enter user's valid credentials (User Name / Password/2nd Level Pass code if applicable) | By entering right credentials user is getting system verification acceptance | Super User |
3 | Access Customize measurements screen | Select Administration Tab → System Management → Customize Measurements | Customize Measurements page appears in a new window | Super User |
4 | View measurement mappings | Verify that measurement mappings are available to view | User is able to view measurement mappings | Super User |
5 | View mapped lab results | Verify that mapped lab results are defined and present measurement type code (ie 'ACR' , LIPIDS TG: TG) in Measurement column | Mapped lab results are defined and present measurement type code | Super User |
1.2.1 Alternate Flows of Events
Alternative Flow 1
Change measurements mappings
