Practice is setup to use EMR.

Following devices should be set up and secured: 1.Client workstation goes into sleep mode with 30 minutes.

2.fax machines/modems, scanners, printers are placed in a secured location preventing public access of transmitted/received documents.

3. No paper records left on desk at the end of day and 4. Documents that designated for shredding is kept secure.
