Inbox - Forwarding Rules (Removing)

Actors/Related actors:

  1. Business Clerks, Records Team, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians

Pre-action requirements/state:

  1. OSCAR is configured and working as expected
  2. OSCAR user is configured with rights to the inbox
  3. You are logged into OSCAR as this user
  4. Labs or Documents exist in OSCAR for this users Inbox
  5. More than 1 physician is configured in OSCAR

Post-action state:

  1. OSCAR Inbox is working as expected

Steps to perform the test case:

  1. Click the "Inbox" link
  2. Click the "Forwarding Rules" link (a)
  3. Click the "Remove" link beside the physician's name who you wish to remove (b)
  4. Click "OK" when prompted for stopping the rules
  5. Click "Update Forwarding Rules" button (c)
  6. Upload a document to the provider's inbox who just removed the forwarding rules (d)
  7. Login to OSCAR as the physician who WAS getting the forwarded documents and records (e)

Failure Steps:

  1. failure result: The labs and or documents are not opened/displayed for signing and saving (editing)

Success Steps:

  1. expected result: Inbox close functionality is working as expected
    1. The forwarding rules editor opens for editing
    2. The new forwarding rule has been removed
    3. The removal of the forwarding rules have been applied
    4. Document has been successfully uploaded to the physicians inbox
    5. The document has NOT been forwarded to the inbox that initially had the rule.  Once the rule is removed, the recipient of the labs/documents will no longer receive them.

Alternate Flows:

  • In step 3, the user can click the "Remove" link beside a specific physician, or can click "Clear Forwarding Rules" to remove all forwarding rules
