Conformance Testing

OntarioMD requires your EMR offering to have a client module that uses SSH2 protocol to automatically check for available reports and download them from an sFTP server no more than every 30 minutes and no less frequent than every 24 hours. Regardless of the sFTP client module used, you are required to maintain continuous and automatic polling the sFTP server for possible new reports and and deleting the reports once they have been verified to be successfully downloaded, decrypted and consumed by your EMR.  Support and correspondence for Conformance Testing will be provided via e-mail, where you are asked to provide results and submit questions via e-mail.

Purpose:

Welcome again to OntarioMD Hospital Report Manager (HRM) Validation testing. The purpose of this testing is to validate EMR vendors who are currently certified for HRM specification 4.0 to become certified for the more recent specification 4.1A.  This document explains two areas of testing required for HRM: 1) Conformance and 2) Functionality of Reports to be consumed by your EMR offering. It also includes information specific for you to be used during Validation Testing. The validation process will be performed in an isolated non-Production environment where no PHI data is used. You may opt to start development as soon as this letter is received, or wait until your official engagement with the OntarioMD Validation Team. Conformance testing is to be executed in sequence; functionality testing will follow. You will be engaged by OntarioMD’s Validation team at which time a walk-through of the process will be scheduled. Support prior to this engagement will be limited.
