Introduction

This guide will go over the basics of creating an issue for the purposes of demonstrating the developer workflow for contributors.


OSCAR EMR uses Atlassian JIRA for Issue tracking. It can be accessed here.

Atlassian has superb documentation on JIRA. Check the resources on the Atlassian websites. We've also provided some links at the end of this guide.

The Developer Panel in JIRA (Developer access required)

The developer panel drives the JIRA - Bitbucket integration. You can view branches, commits, and pull requests about this issue directly in JIRA. In addition, you can also create a development branch or pull request directly from the JIRA interface.
