Match the retrieved reports to the recipient physician/nurse practitioner within the EMR using:

- the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) 5 digit unique identifier number with a prefix of ‘D’ provided by the HRM.

- the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) 7 digit unique identifier number with a prefix of ‘N’ provided by the HRM- the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) 7 digit

Actors/Related actors:

  1. Business Clerks, Records Team, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians

Pre-action requirements/state:

  1. OSCAR is configured and working as expected
  2. OSCAR user is configured with rights to the inbox
  3. HRM preferences have been configured correctly (user name, SFTP site, private key, decryption key)

Post-action state:

  1. OSCAR Inbox is working as expected

Steps to perform the test case:

  1. Click the "Admin" link in OSCAR
  2. Click Hospital Report Manager (HRM) Preferences
  3. Match the retrieved reports to the recipient physician/nurse practitioner within the EMR using

    1. the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) 5 digit unique identifier number with a prefix of ‘D’ provided by the HRM.

    2. the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) 7 digit unique identifier number with a prefix of ‘N’ provided by the HRM

Failure Steps:

  1. failure result: No status messages are provided to the user in the GUI or audit trail indicating the errors that exist

Success Steps:

expected result: User receives messages via the GUI and/or audit trail detailing the errors in the HRM preferences

  1. HRM reports received (not reviewed) are delivered to the inbox of the correct HRM report recipient.

  2. HRM reports intended for Nurse Practitioner recipients (if any) are delivered in the proper clinician inbox.

Alternate Flows:

  1. Check transaction in the audit trail.
