Deleting a Measurement

Description:

This test case covers the ability to delete a measurement value from a flowsheet using the Health Tracker Module.

Actors/Related actors:

1. care provider

Pre-action requirements/state:

1. Care provider is active in OSCAR
2. A patient demographic must exist in OSCAR
3. A measurement value must exist in a patient's Health Tracker

Post-action state:

• The patient's Health Tracker no longer contains the deleted measurement value

Steps to perform the test case:

1. Login to OSCAR as a Care Provider
2. Click the Search button along the top menu
3. Enter in the last name for the existing patient demographic on the Patient Search Results page
4. Click the Search button beside the search input box
5. Once the patient demographic shows up in the results table Click E to access the patient's Encounter page
6. Once in the Encounter page, on the left hand side under the Measurements heading, Click Health Tracker
7. Once the Health Tracker page locate the existing measurement and click on the measurement value
8. A modal dialog will appear, Click the Delete button
   

Failure Steps:

1. An error message will appear stating the deletion process has failed
2. The measurement will remain in the database
3. The measurement will still appear in Health Tracker

Success Steps:

1. The measurement will be deleted from the database
2. The measurement will no longer appear in Health Tracker
